Boston Summer Opera was born from our musician-friends’ collective desire to create unique, compelling music together, rather than that of financial gain. That said, your generous donation would make a significant impact.

We have many aspirations for future programming, but need fiscal support to make these ideas happen. Our goal is to secure $6,000 in order to pay singers, orchestra members, conductors, and artistic team members, and to cover the many other costs that go into producing an opera.

Where will my donation go?

Great question!

We aspire to pay all artists involved in Boston Summer Opera projects. This includes singers, instrumentalists, directors, conductors, stage managers, stage crew, and ushers.

Additionally, there are many other costs that go into putting on an opera: costumes, props, professional photography and videography, printing programs, marketing, venue rental fees, and more. These can really add up, but are not an option as we produce high quality productions for the community.

Your generous donation will help cover all of these expenses, which we initially front.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

Yes!

We are proud to be a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purpose of Boston Summer Opera must be made payable to "Fractured Atlas" and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
